Dear Readers,
If you have read this deeply into my website, thank you for your interest!
I put up this site about one year ago just after the publication of No Ordinary Life. Now, one year later, Help Me to Feel is published. Mom is growing up and so am I. I’ve learned much on this journey—more about how to write, more about how to negotiate with publishers and customers, more about connecting with people.
I am grateful to my mother for starting me on this path. I am grateful for heavenly help as pieces fall together to get the books published—some of these pieces being put into place decades ago, and only now bearing fruit. I am grateful for each lesson I learn and because I have the strength, ability, and faith to put my fingers to my keyboard even when I don’t feel like I am “in the zone.” These books want to be written. They want to be shared. I often feel I am just the conduit, and thankful to be part of the process.
As I begin the last third of what Mom had written, I am looking ahead to the next books. I feel like with Mom’s continued posthumous tutoring, I will be ready to become “first” author. It is exciting, and scary. Wish me well. Please continue to read, to share enthusiasm for what you read to get others to read. It is marvelous that I am learning from the production of these books, but they are ready to touch many more lives than just my own.
Also, please, please, write your own stories! Mom’s stories never would have made it to publication if she hadn’t first spilled her heart onto the pages. You can touch lives as well, if you will.
Love from Kim
